HAND-MADE Heart With Bird Pin / Brooch By Juried Artist

This high-quality crafted pin/brooch was created by Jim Mullan, a mixed-media artist, who for many years, showcased and sold his creations at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival in Miami, Florida. After the 90's, he and his wife Tori who is also an artist, transitioned from producing pins and brooches to creating larger, more substantial works which can be seen in over 1,000 galleries, museum stores and specialty shops worldwide. MEASUREMENTS: 1 1/2" W X 1 1/2" H This unique pin/brooch which is one-of-a-kind, combines patinated metals, hand-painted detail and miniature clockwork mechanisms and mechanical components. It was designed and created in the 90's and features a heart with a bird sitting on top of the heart. There is a window in the heart where a round polished orange stone can be seen. Hanging metal glass stones attached to vintage watch parts complete the piece. Comes with a silk draw-string pouch *NOTE: The pin/brooch can also be worn as a necklace by attaching a silk cord to the pin (silk cord not included with purchase).
