With a large line-up of Cabernet Sauvignons and Bordeaux varietals, Soda Rock wines are big & bold, just like its historic past. Those subtle nose of the 2023 Smith Orchard Cabernet Sauvignon offers mocha-laced oak woven into nuanced aromas of tart cherry, red currant and brambly blackberry. Spicy cedar serves as the palate greeter, followed by flavors of North Star cherry, red and black currant, Black Beauty plum and a trace of mulberry. Bright acidity accompanies the classic Cabernet flavors, lending a brightness to the wine’s dark essence. Fine-grained oak contributes appealing mocha and woodsy notes.
