Pink is our confident girl in Sabrina’s litter. She has a long black (seal) coat and is our biggest female. What’s Seal? Seal is a coloration that begins black and may change with age. These changes are normally seen around 2 years old but can be earlier. Some pups have minimal color change while others are more noticeable. Usually it’s a silvering or browning of the original color that can be found in some or all of the following areas: behind the hind legs, shoulders, behind the ears and around the eyes. We can’t predict how a seal coat will turn out but it’s always fun to watch and I haven’t seen any of them that didn’t turn out stunning in the end.
