Alexander Valley Vineyards 2021 Syrah Case of 12 bottles

The 2021 Syrah has rich aromas of plum, black cherry, vanilla, oak and violets explode from the glass, while bright berry flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum followed by hints of white pepper and vanilla dance across the palate. This is a spice driven wine that is 96% Syrah, with 4% Viognier added to soften the tannin and acid structure and increase the aromatics. At harvest, the Syrah was destemmed and cold-soaked to retain the bright berry flavors and stabilize the color, while the Viognier received a gentle press, then was fermented in neutral French oak barrels. The two varietals were barrel aged separately for 18 months, then blended prior to bottling. No shipping to the following states: DE, IN, LA, ME, MS, NJ, RI, and UT.
