Electrical stimulation or e-stim uses a machine to produce electrical impulses that are conveyed to the body through specifically placed adhesive pads . Depending on the desired therapeutic outcome
these impulses can stimulate the motor or sensory nerves in the muscle. These small electric impulses help to decrease pain, lessen muscle spasms, increase muscle strength, blood circulation and range of motion.
